Experience Community + Civic Clarksville War Memorial Park City of Clarksville Clarksville War Memorial Park Clarksville, Indiana // 2,153 sq. ft. To honor local veterans, Clarksville Township hired TowerPinkster to design the area surrounding the existing war memorial monument on the Clarksville Town Hall Campus. The project included bench seating to accommodate 100 guests, and a new pergola designed to resemble the monument. Throughout the project, sustainable methods were utilized. Some of these methods include irrigation of water recycled from the adjacent retention ponds, bioswales from nearby buildings to filter pollutants, and fern foliage planted to block surrounding noise. The completed site offers a beautiful space to conduct memorial ceremonies, salutes, and opportunities for the community to pay tribute to their veterans.
