Grand Rapids Public Schools

Union High School is one of five high schools in the Grand Rapids Public School district. It is located on the west side of Grand Rapids and has a diverse student body, an active athletics program, and a strong ROTC program. The district determined that renovating the existing building on the current site is the most effective strategy for completing upgrades to the school. Updates to the school include renovating locker rooms, a new security office, and secure vestibule, gymnasium upgrades, renovating the existing cafeteria and foodservice equipment, and renovating the existing shop wing into new classrooms.
