Experience K12 2018 Bond Projects Mona Shores Public Schools 2018 Bond Projects Norton Shores, MI On November 6, 2018, the Mona Shores Public Schools community passed a bond proposal that generated $93 million with no expected tax increase. The district had hundreds of people participate in community input sessions at all schools. The improvements that were identified in those forums created the scope of work for the district. These updates include increased classroom safety, ADA updates, HVAC updates, plumbing and bathroom updates, electrical and mechanical updates, replacement of single-pane windows, and more. Many of these identified items are original to our buildings that were built in the 50’s and 60’s. Some of the upgrades in the district include ADA and security updates at every school, additions to the elementary schools, a media center addition at Churchill Elementary School, and a new softball/soccer complex. For more information on the projects being completed as part of the 2018 Bond Proposal, please visit their website. The TowerPinkster Marketing Team worked with the district to complete this website, offering transparent updates to the Mona Shores community.
