Credit Union Renovations

Reno & Sparks, Nevada // 1,500 sq. ft.

Client Challenge

At two existing bank locations in Reno and Sparks, Nevada, each branch relied mainly upon remote teller transactions. When United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) purchased these branches there was a desire to re-brand the facility and create a better customer service experience that encourages more interaction between customers and staff. UFCU realized that a modified layout could maintain current staff efficiencies while providing better banking services and maintaining a high level of security.

TowerPinkster Solution

TowerPinkster assisted with re-branding and renovations at both of the UFCU branch locations. The new lobby layout provides open teller desks that encourage face-to-face transactions. The offset configuration helps maintain client privacy and allows employees to visually monitor all patrons that enter and leave through the main entry. The back-to-back relationship of the drive-thru teller workstations and the interior teller lanes allows staff to move easily between the areas. Printers and copiers are located on a new island that provides convenient access for all tellers. A new cash room outside of public view creates a safe environment for employees starting or ending their shift. A new conference room directly accessible from the lobby was added to create additional private meeting space for credit union customers and employees.
