TowerPinkster, an architecture, engineering and interior design firm based in Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky, is looking for a skilled professional Electrical Engineer with five years of professional experience working in the industry. The ideal candidate will provide innovative electrical design solutions which successfully lead to exceeding client expectations and be able to successfully manage multiple projects. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Provide electrical engineering solutions, design documents, specifications and project communications. Provide follow through of designs: construction correspondence, observation, punch listing and close out. Design electrical systems, data and communication systems, fire alarm and security systems, technology systems to meet client needs and code requirements. Design fire alarm systems. Design lighting control systems and layout and specify lighting fixtures in the building. Provide an assessment of existing building systems and provide the client with recommendations on needed maintenance, available savings and/or rebates for upgrades. Provide system design solutions, design documents, specifications, and project communications. Coordinate our design with our full-service team of professionals of all disciplines. Perform Arc Flash and Coordination studies. Mentor and train younger designers and engineers. Serve as Project Manager of electrical only projects. All other job duties as apparent or assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required. A Professional Engineers License (P.E.) or ability to obtain licensure within on year Five years of professional experience, in A/E/C industry preferred. Revit software experience preferred. Easypower powr analysis experience preferred. Proficient in word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Knowledge of power distribution and associated equipment. Knowledge of lighting technologies and lighting control systems. Knowledge of fire alarm requirements and different type of building requirements. Knowledge of drawing, scheduling, and coordinating design components in 3D drafting software. Knowledge of codes and standards.
