Proposals + Marketing Coordinator

TowerPinkster is seeking a talented Proposals + Marketing Coordinator to join our team! As an integral part of our marketing group, the Proposals + Marketing Coordinator is responsible for driving forward business development initiatives through the coordination and development of RFP responses, qualifications packages, and managing the interview process. The Proposals + Marketing Coordinator will have the opportunity to learn about the AEC industry and become involved in a variety of marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have an eye for details, excellent communications skills, industry experience, be proactive and resourceful, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Position Responsibilities

  • Works directly with technical staff, consultants, and market sector leaders throughout the RFP process to build winning and dynamic proposals. This includes scheduling and leading kick-off meetings, setting schedules, developing and assembling the RPF response, writing content, and printing/shipping coordination.
  • Develops qualifications packets.
  • Collaborates with internal experts and partners to develop project interview strategy.
  • Coordinates interview prep sessions and provides feedback to technical staff on best practices.
  • Develops PowerPoint presentations and supporting collateral for interviews.
  • Actively seeks new ways to connect with clients and improve the interview process.
  • Will have an active role in implementing a new digital asset management system.
  • Update and maintain project information, master templates, resumes, and other firm content.
  • Maintains database of RFP wins/losses.
  • Other duties may include project capture support, social media, and conference support.

Position qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience. Experience in the AEC industry is a plus.
  • Experience with desktop publishing software (InDesign) and the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps for Business (G-Suite), and project/contact databases.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Graphic design skills are a plus.

Position location

This is a full-time position located in either Grand Rapids, Michigan or Kalamazoo, Michigan.
