Mona Shores Public Schools

As part of the bond passed in 2018, Mona Shores Public Schools partnered with TowerPinkster to complete upgrades to multiple elementary schools, including Churchill Elementary. This renovation project included several additions: a new entry canopy and secure vestibule, a media center and office, a new gymnasium/auditorium, and dedicated music classrooms.

The educational environment is enhanced by natural light incorporated and controlled in all spaces and coordinates with the building lighting system. As Mona Shores Public Schools are close to several bodies of water, the design themes at Churchill are light, bright, airy, and nautical. All spaces in the school received finish upgrades with materials chosen for durability, function, and aesthetics. Building systems were upgraded throughout, including all new heating/cooling systems to accommodate the additions. Site upgrades include reconfigured parking lots and access drives to solve pick-up and drop-off congestion.
