Grand Rapids Community College

TowerPinkster partnered with Grand Rapids Community College’s Foundation to renovate the historic Lettinga Hall. The foundation was tucked inside an academic building and GRCC wanted to take the opportunity to relocate to its own building and put the organization “on the map.”

The project consisted of a complete interior and exterior renovation of a former residence into flexible, modern office and group space while being mindful of the building’s historic character. This included the upgrades of mechanical and electrical systems to meet the college’s current infrastructure standards. The exterior renovation involved the replacement of windows and siding to upgrade the building’s façade while maintaining its historic presence. This project achieved LEED certification.
