Axton Hall Renovation

Louisville, Kentucky

In 2018, Simmons College hired TowerPinkster to assist with the restoration of Axton Hall. Originally built in 1949 by Samuel Plato, Axton Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Following guidelines from the Kentucky Department of Historic Preservation, the building was completely renovated and now includes new features such as an accessible entrance and restrooms, site drainage improvements, and landscaping. Today, students enjoy the renovated classrooms and performance space for the College’s music program.
