Baldwin Family Health Care

After recently completing a new medical office building in Grant, Michigan, Baldwin Family Health Care secured a federal government grant to replace their aging ambulatory facility in White Cloud. The desired programming requirements challenged the design team to creatively develop a new, more efficient medical office building within confined site boundaries.

In a design-build approach, TowerPinkster worked with Teton Designs and Williams & Works to provide architecture, interior design, structural engineering, and civil engineering services. TowerPinkster’s in-house engineers also completed schematic design and performance specifications for mechanical and electrical engineering.

With oversight from Triangle Associates, our team collaboratively designed a new medical office building that features general medical exam and procedure rooms, women’s health services, dental services, radiology, labs, a retail pharmacy, and expansion space for a future specialty clinic and an optometry suite. The team also worked hand in hand with the local planning commission to work through a number of zoning variances in order to fit the desired program and parking requirements into the constrained property boundaries.

Complete in December of 2011, Baldwin Family Health Care now has a new 2-story state-of-the-art medical services building to serve the White Cloud Community for years to come.
