Byron Center Public Schools’ newest elementary building is a thoughtfully renovated facility that reimagines the former intermediate school to serve the district’s evolving educational needs. Rather than constructing a new facility, the district chose to invest in a full renovation of the existing building. This transformation reused the entire structure by reconfiguring and refreshing interior spaces and included a small addition in the southeast corner. The updated facility brings new life to the building with modern finishes, supporting flexible learning and a vibrant environment tailored to young learners while preserving the building’s original structure and value.
