The New Nickels Intermediate School, tailored for 5th and 6th-grade students, accommodates 850 individuals and allows for future growth. Its design encompasses two classroom wings providing ample space for engaging learning environments. Strategically placed throughout the building are breakout spaces that encourage impromptu discussions and collaborative activities.

In addition to indoor collaboration space, the media center, a focal point of the school, accesses an outdoor patio that serves as an open-air environment for small-group learning. Complementing the art rooms, art patios offer students another opportunity to explore their creativity outdoors.
