Dekalb Community Schools

Cortland Elementary was at capacity and in need of modernized learning environments to bring students into the 21st century. Interior renovations of the existing building included the enclosure of the current library area to capture repurposed space and the expansion of restroom capacity for the academic classroom wing. A smaller addition allowed for the creation of a new computer lab, while the existing computer lab was transformed to a standard classroom. New flooring and casework were also replaced in all classrooms and corridors to provide an updated look and feel to the learning spaces.
