Experience K12 Central Stadium Forest Hills Public Schools Central Stadium Grand Rapids, Michigan // Entire Campus sq. ft. PROJECT CHALLENGE + SOLUTION Following the approval of their 2018 bond program, Forest Hills Public Schools engaged TowerPinkster to design various additions and renovations to their Central Stadium. The district desired to reimagine the aging field to match its more modern facilities and tradition of educational excellence. The project was divided into two phases to accommodate the school’s busy athletics schedule. The first phase included a new track, updated ticket booth, new concession building, new scoreboard, and a pole vault area. The second phase expanded the home bleachers to enhance the spectator experience while adding new multipurpose space behind the bleachers and a press box. Inspired by Ranger pride, the new space boasts home team locker rooms, restrooms, a room for officials, storage space, and auxiliary rooms.
