Jeffersonville Township Public Library wanted to renovate and expand its existing building in an effort to broaden services and better serve the community. 

The new building addition includes more meeting spaces, two private study rooms, and four self-checkout stations. The Tom & Mary Frances Koetter Makerspace features 3-D printing, a media conversion station, computers with Adobe design software, laser engraving, photography equipment, a recording studio, a button maker, vinyl cutting/printing, a sewing machine, a serger machine, laminators, and other equipment. The media conversion station allows library patrons to convert a variety of media into digital formats, including slides, photographs, LPs, and VHS tapes. The new recording/podcast studio includes soundproof walls, a portable grand piano, dynamic microphones, condenser microphones, and more
