Client Challenge

Otsego Public Schools wished to provide the city with a new flagship high school to restore pride and reinvigorate the community. As part of the bond issue, improvements to the athletic stadium were included as field use was limited and additional sites for other athletic needs was not an option.

TowerPinkster Solution

Leaving the existing stadium in place, TowerPinkster designed a new stadium entry, complete with concessions, team rooms, and a new press box. The athletic complex features a synthetic turf field and a resilient-surface track. Use of synthetic turf allows opportunities for other sports teams (i.e. soccer) to use the field for games and practice – this maximizes field use. The complex also includes new ball fields, and tennis courts, which all contribute to a community flagship high school.
