Rockford Package Supply

Rockford Package Supply is a family-run produce packaging firm in the greater Grand Rapids area. When they needed a new space, they partnered with TowerPinkster and Rockford Construction in order to make that need a reality. They developed a 100,000 SF pre-engineered metal building. This provided Rockford Package Supply with 90,000 SF for warehousing and an additional 10,000 SF for office space. The warehouse section also had to house a cooler/freezer and required a 2” layer of rigid insulation below the building’s slab. Our mechanical engineers worked to provide an HVAC system in the warehouse that would consist of in-wall exhaust fans and a louver to sweep the air across the building. The electrical engineers designed a system that would provide 400 Amp main service with LED lighting and occupancy sensors.
