Additions to each facility were constructed to enhance the district’s ability to provide a comprehensive education and offer protection during severe weather events, fostering a sense of reassurance within the school community. At the middle school, a specialist STEAM center was established, reflecting the school’s commitment to providing a well-rounded education. At the high school, the expansion encompasses an enlarged fine arts facility featuring dedicated spaces for band and choir activities. Through the utilization of FEMA resources, Salem Community Schools was able to not only ensure compliance with stringent safety protocols but also enrich the educational environment for middle and high school students.
