TowerPinkster collaborated with the Youth Service Bureau to design the new Youth Service Center, a 25,000-square-foot facility in South Bend, Indiana. This transformative project consolidates various critical services that were previously scattered across the city into a single, centralized location. The center aims to streamline access to essential resources for youth, enhancing the impact and reach of the Youth Service Bureau’s initiatives. Designed to foster connection and support, the new center features key areas such as the drop-in center, transitional living, the safe station shelter, administration, and a versatile gym/multipurpose space. These spaces seamlessly flow along a spacious central corridor, with a flat roof over the gym and sloped roofs over the remaining program areas. This facility serves as a beacon of stability, offering respectful housing and comprehensive community support to empower teens and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges.
