Kalamazoo Public Schools

We collaborated with Kalamazoo Public Schools to revitalize the softball and baseball facilities at Kalamazoo Central High School. The Turn 2 Foundation and Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation generously funded this project. The renovation included new seats, enhanced dugout areas, synthetic turf, a clay infield, and a new drainage system. To optimize the playing conditions, the fields’ orientation was adjusted to face northeast, ensuring that batters wouldn’t contend with the glare of the afternoon and evening sun. Other improvements include new grandstand bleachers, galvanized fences, and accessibility amenities.
