Architectural Specifications Writer Join our team at TowerPinkster and open a new door to an amazing career! TowerPinkster, an architecture, engineering and interior design firm based in Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky, is looking for an Architectural Specifications Writer. This position is responsible for collaborating with leaders and team on various projects as assigned to product project manuals. A specification writer may work on several concurrent projects. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES + EXPECTATIONS Effectively produce complete and fully checked project manuals on time. Research and verify all codes and standards. Review documents and drawings for coordination with specifications. Coordinate printing of project specification manuals. Provide support for production of outlining specifications. Research all materials and systems. Coordinate specifications written by consultants on projects. Maintain libraries of specifications and project manuals. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Two to Four Year Degree in Drafting or Architecture. Three to five years of Professional Experience in Architecture and Engineering Industry. Ability to show experience in document production with material specification proficiency. Knowledge of REVIT preferred. Knowledge of MasterSpec software preferred. Ability to show proficiency in technical writing skills. Ability to read and understand drawings in the Architecture field. POSITION LOCATION This is a full-time position located in either Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo, Michigan.
