TowerPinkster is proud to announce that Kelsey Groesbeck, PE, has been named the 2030 Leader of the Year by the U.S. Green Building Council of West Michigan (USGBC-WM). The award recognizes Kelsey’s exceptional contributions to sustainable design and her unwavering commitment to advancing energy efficiency within our industry.

Since joining TowerPinkster in 2014, Kelsey has been a driving force in promoting sustainability. In 2024, she was named the Director of TowerPinkster’s Building Science team, providing innovative strategies to reduce energy consumption and develop holistic building solutions. Her leadership has been instrumental in our pursuit of the AIA 2030 Commitment, which aims for carbon-neutral buildings by 2030.

Kelsey’s dedication extends beyond our firm; she actively engages with professional organizations such as the USGBC West Michigan and ASHRAE West Michigan chapters. Her expertise is frequently sought after at industry events, where she shares her knowledge on sustainable design practices.

We are incredibly proud of Kelsey’s achievements and grateful for her continued contributions to TowerPinkster and the broader community. Her recognition with the 2030 Leadership Award emphasizes her role as a leader in sustainability and reflects our firm’s commitment to creating a more sustainable future.

Kelsey received her Bachelor’s and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University. She holds advanced accreditations including LEED BD+C and Living Futures Accreditation (LFA). 

The U.S. Green Building Council of West Michigan (USGBC-WM) is a regional chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, dedicated to promoting sustainable and energy-efficient practices in the built environment within West Michigan. Its mission is to create healthier, more environmentally responsible communities by advancing green building principles and practices.
