Partnering with K-12 Leaders: Superintendent Roundtable Recap

Over the summer, TowerPinkster welcomed superintendents from across Michigan to our Grand Rapids office for a half-day Superintendent Roundtable. The event created space for district leaders to connect, share ideas, and hear from experts on topics critical to successful bond campaigns and community engagement.

A Focus on Advocacy, Messaging, and Public Trust

Recognizing that a successful bond extends beyond great design, discussions centered on how public trust, clear messaging, and community advocacy shape the path to voter confidence. Drawing from our experience supporting districts through every phase of bond planning and communication, TowerPinkster facilitated dialogue on practical strategies to help leaders engage their communities and strengthen understanding of their district’s vision.

The roundtable featured presentations designed to give superintendents actionable strategies they can take back to their districts, including:

  • Mobilizing Advocacy Campaigns
  • Partnering With Teachers’ Unions
  • Do’s and Don’ts for Informational Messaging
  • Media, Politics, and Public Attitudes Toward K-12

Throughout the morning, sessions sparked thoughtful conversation around communication, coalition building, and public perception. Attendees found the topics both timely and essential, with many noting how valuable it was to collaborate with peers facing similar challenges.

Supporting Leaders Who Support Students

For TowerPinkster, the roundtable was an opportunity to strengthen relationships with the K-12 community and provide resources that help superintendents lead these critical campaigns with confidence.  Our goal is to help superintendents lead bond efforts that are transparent, trusted, and aligned with their community’s values, ensuring every project begins with informed support and shared purpose.
