Sara Bergakker, PE, has been named Director of Higher Education, and Ella Segur, NCIDQ, has been named Director of Healthcare. Sara brings more than 20 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry, with a proven track record of fostering strong client relationships and delivering tailored solutions for higher education institutions. Sara’s experience working both on the design side for architecture and engineering firms, as well as on the owner’s side as Team Leader in Facilities Engineering at Cornell University, has given her the perspective to design buildings and systems that work together and efficiently serve their occupants for decades. Her expertise will enhance TowerPinkster’s ability to partner with colleges and universities to create inspiring, sustainable, and functional campus environments. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Grove City College, is a Professional Engineer licensed in 11 states, a WELL Accredited Professional, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a Construction Document Technologist. Sara most recently worked on the new dairy teaching and research facility at Michigan State University. Ella Segur, NCIDQ, has been named Director of Healthcare. With more than 10 years of experience in healthcare-focused design, Ella has demonstrated exceptional skill in identifying client needs and driving innovative solutions for hospitals, clinics, and wellness facilities. Her appointment underscores TowerPinkster’s commitment to advancing healthcare environments that promote healing and operational efficiency. Ella attended Western Michigan University and received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a minor in Business. She is certified by the Council for Interior Design Qualification.
