TowerPinkster was founded in 1953 by four architects – Raymond Stapert, Herman Pratt, Alfred Bulthuis, and George Sprau. They wanted to create a different kind of firm and envisioned a people-focused culture that focused on incredible design while also valuing people and community above all else. 

Fast forward to today, and things have certainly changed. We now have a talented team of more than 200 professionals, our reach has expanded across the Midwest, and we have offices in Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. But even with this incredible growth, our core values have remained steadfast.

We’re grateful to those who have taken the journey with us and we’re thrilled to be celebrating 70 years of incredible design in 2023.
