Media + Press //Articles Giving Back: TowerPinkster’s 2025 Annual Giving Recap Lauren Sikkema, MAMarketing Specialist Each year, TowerPinkster’s annual holiday giving campaign serves as a reminder of the power of collaboration, uniting our offices, teams, and communities to create a meaningful impact. In 2025, this spirit was on full display as TowerPinkster staff raised nearly $34,000 to support organizations dedicated to housing stability and homelessness prevention. A Little Competition Goes a Long Way Our holiday giving campaign thrives on friendly rivalry. Staff members across the firm form teams and compete to raise the most money for their chosen nonprofit partners. Throughout the campaign, a live fundraising dashboard tracks each team’s progress in real time, fueling motivation, strategic planning, and plenty of good-natured banter. As usual, the most thrilling moments were decided in the final moments. In the last 30 minutes, strategic last-minute “money drops” caused totals to spike and rankings to change quickly. Although the competition was fierce, it ultimately aimed for a goal beyond just winning. Supporting the Communities We Call Home Behind every dollar raised was a shared commitment to strengthening the communities where we live and work. This year’s campaign supported three remarkable organizations: Family Promise of West Michigan Our Grand Rapids, MI, and Grand Haven, MI, offices chose to raise money for Family Promise of West Michigan, a nonprofit aimed at “ending homelessness, one family at a time.” Family Promise also provides emergency shelter and basic needs to families with children in housing crises, as well as additional programs that assist in finding housing and sustaining independence. Open Doors Kalamazoo Our Kalamazoo team rallied behind Open Doors Kalamazoo, an organization that provides critical support to people experiencing homelessness, including affordable housing, financial education, and homebuyer readiness programs. Homeless Coalition of Southern Indiana Teams in New Albany and Louisville supported the Homeless Coalition of Southern Indiana, focusing on housing stability assistance, emergency shelter, and helping individuals access medical coverage and support services. Giving Time, Not Just Dollars At TowerPinkster, our commitment to giving back extends beyond financial contributions. We provide every employee with paid volunteer hours and actively encourage our staff to use them throughout the year. In 2025 alone, our team contributed nearly 1,000 volunteer hours to local charities and community organizations. More Than a Campaign Our holiday giving campaign reflects our identity: competitive, collaborative, and deeply invested in our communities’ well-being. We’re proud of what we accomplished together this year and even more inspired by the ongoing impact these organizations make every day. Previous Post Next Post
