TowerPinkster Announces New Shareholders

TowerPinkster, an employee-owned and multi-discipline design firm, announced the advancement of 12 talented employees to join the firm’s shareholder group as Associates. The team members are Chris Baer, Judson Brood, Joe Chapman, Jeff Doran, Ashley Dunneback, Kelsey Groesbeck, Amanda Hunsucker, Craig Janetzke, Matt Murphy, Alexis Orr, Ella Segur, and Kyle Wilson. Each exemplifies the firm’s values and works to create high-quality client experiences on every project.

CHRIS BAER, AIA, NCARB

Chris joined TowerPinkster in 2016 and has more than 10 years’ experience as a project architect. Chris is an important member of TowerPinkster’s healthcare design team and works closely with clients throughout the state including projects with Ascension Borgess Hospital, Ascension Health Imaging Centers, Bronson Healthcare, and Family Health Center in Kalamazoo, MI. Chris holds a Master of Architecture from University of Detroit Mercy.

Judson has been a member of the TowerPinkster team since 2014 and has been an instrumental part of many notable projects including the Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids and Chesterfield Township, and the Great Lakes Center for the Arts in Bay Harbor, MI. As a senior architectural project coordinator, Judson is a brings his impressive skills to projects across each of the firm’s market sectors. He holds a Master of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University.

JOE CHAPMAN
Joe has been a part of the TowerPinkster team for more than 20 years and serves as a senior mechanical designer. Joe’s experience includes work with several of the firm’s repeat clients including Pfizer, Spectrum Health, Otsego Public Schools, and the State of Michigan.

JEFF DORAN, LEED AP
Jeff Doran has been providing mechanical design services for more than 28 years and brings a vast amount of knowledge from completing work for a variety of clients ranging from K-12 and higher education facilities to commercial and non-profit organizations. Jeff has worked on key projects with clients including the City of Grand Rapids, Jenison Public Schools, and Spectrum Health. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science from Ferris State University.

Dunneback Ashley Horizontal

ASHLEY DUNNEBACK, AIA, NCARB
Ashley is a design architect with more than seven years’ experience in all phases of project design and implementation for a variety of building types including educational, municipal, commercial, recreation, and restoration. Ashley boasts an impressive resume of K-12 projects including the high school renovation at Byron Center Public Schools, and the Forest Hills Central Stadium. Ashley holds a Master of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University.

Groesbeck Kelsey Horizontal LR

KELSEY GROESBECK, PE, AP BD+C, LFA
Kelsey joined TowerPinkster in 2014 and has quickly become the go-to expert on sustainability topics including the building commissioning process, LEED certification, and Living Future Accreditation. Her knowledge of and passion for sustainability has helped clients achieve a variety of sustainable accolades including Western Michigan University’s Heritage Hall which achieved LEED Platinum certification and won the prestigious ASHRAE Technology Award. In 2020, she completed her Living Future Accreditation through the International Living Future Institute. Kelsey holds a Master of Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University.

Amanda is a senior interior designer and has been an integral part of the project team on a wide variety of educational, corporate, retail, healthcare, and tenant finish projects. Key projects include the renovation of the Lilly Library at Indiana University’s Bloomington campus, Jeffersonville Township Public Library Pocket Park, and the new Optum Health medical office building in New Albany, IN. She leads interior design services at the firm’s Jeffersonville, IN, office. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Indiana State University.

CRAIG JANETZKE

Craig joined TowerPinkster in 2016 and has more than 30 years of industry knowledge and experience. He has extensive experience in a variety of project types including K-12 education, senior living facilities, health care, and hospitality. As a project manager, Craig is a key member of TowerPinkster’s K-12 team. Clients include Cadillac Public Schools, Kentwood Public Schools, Jenison Public Schools, and Lowell Area Schools, among others.

MATT MURPHY, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP

Matt is a design architect with extensive educational, health care, and commercial design experience. His skill in creating and communicating unique design concepts to owners and team members facilitates project consensus. Since joining TowerPinkster in 2012, Matt has been part of several well-known projects including the renovation and addition to the Grand Rapids Public Museum, the Warner Building at 180 Street in Kalamazoo, and extensive work with Kalamazoo Public Schools. Matt holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University.

Alexis joined TowerPinkster in 2012 and currently serves as project administration supervisor. In her role, Alexis assists project teams with key documentation and submissions to ensure project success while helping grow, mentor, and lead the firm’s project administration team. Key clients include Byron Center Public Schools, Kelloggsville Public Schools, and Jenison Public Schools.

Ella holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from Western Michigan University.

Kyle joined TowerPinkster as a senior design architect and has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry. He has worked across the country with a wide variety of client types including healthcare, municipal, educational, wellness, and recreation. Key projects include the Optum Health medical office building in New Albany, the Louisville City/Racing Louisville soccer training facility, New Albany Fire Station #5, and master planning for the YMCA of Greater Louisville. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Ball State University.
