TowerPinkster is extremely proud to announce that Kelsey Groesbeck, PE, has been named a ‘2023 Rising Star in the AEC Industry’ by Zweig

Group. The national award recognizes a small group of young industry professionals who demonstrate outstanding talent, leadership, and dedication to their profession and the industry.

Groesbeck joined TowerPinkster in 2014 and serves as a mechanical engineer and sustainability leader. In addition to leading the firm’s sustainability committee, she launched and now leads the firm’s Building Science Group. The Building Science team provides sustainability expertise through energy modeling, envelope design, certification administration, incentive programs, commissioning, and pursuit of the AIA 2030 Commitment. She has volunteered in various roles with the USGBC West Michigan and ASHRAE West Michigan chapters. Being recognized for her expertise, she is regularly invited to be a panelist and presenter at industry events.

Groesbeck received her Bachelor and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University. She holds advanced accreditations including LEED BD+C and Living Futures Accreditation (LFA). LFA recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a deep understanding of sustainable design and the Living Building Challenge certification program.
